Wayne is now enjoying his life with Marein en Reint and apparently is spending his nights in de bed with their son Julius.

They have named him Koshka - Russian for cat - a name we think suits him.

We miss him but are very pleased to see him doing so well. We thank Marein for sending us these beautiful pictures

Cats and Dogs

Isn't this a cute couple? On the right you see Simba, one of Scarlet's sons from her last litter, and on the right Ross, one of his new best friends. When they first met, Simba found Ross certainly a bit scary but now they are getting along like a house on fire! Thank you Odette for this lovely picture and taking such good care of our little boy.

Is dit geen lief plaatje? Rechts is Simba, een van Scarlet's zonen uit haar laatste nestje. Links ligt Ross een van zijn nieuwe beste vrienden. Toen zij voor de eerste keer kennis maken was Simba zeker onder de indruk van Ross, maar nu kunnen zij het prima vinden! Simba heeft het in ieder geval erg naar zijn zin :-). Odette, bedankt voor deze lieve foto en dat je zo goed voor onze kleine kerel zorgt.

Supreme Grand Champion Alter

Apple did it again! In just a few months and shows after becoming Supreme Grand Champion. he's now advanced to Supreme Grand Champion Alter. After being shown in Baden (A) he just needed being awarded the highly coveted Best Alter title in a judge's Final to advance. And in the weekend of October 17th/18th in Lichtenfels (D) he got four of those!

TICA Judge Vlada Beninya from Russia decided to award him this first place first, and she's therefore the one that supremed him! We love the fact that an American Judge supremed him as a Championshop cat and that a Russian Judge supremed him as an Alter. The powers that be have spoken (and we are very, very proud of our baby!

Apple heeft het weer geflikt! In slechts een paar maanden en evenveel shows na het bereiken van de Supreme Grand Champion titel, heeft hij nu de titel van Supreme Grand Champion Alter behaald.
Na de show in Baden (A) had hij "slechts" nog een felbegeerde eerste plek in een Kastraatfinale nodig om de SGCA status te bereiken. En in het weekeinde van 17 en 18 oktober in Lichtenfels (D) werd hem zelfs viermaal (!) deze plek toegekend.

De Russiche TICA keurmeester Vlada Beninya deed did als eerste en zij is daarom degene die Apple "gesupremed" heeft! We vinden het geweldig dat het een Amerikaanse keurmeester is geweest die Apple de status van SGC heeft gegeven en dat het een Russiche keurmeester is geweest die verantwoordelijk is voor Apple SGCA status. De wereldmachten hebben gesproken (en wij zijn verschrikkelijk trots op onze kerel!)

This week we received these lovely pictures of Murmers and Feline, two daughters of Lotjes previous litter. Aren't they gorgeous? Robert and Pauline, thank you for these great pictures and taking care of our babies.

Deze week ontvingen wij deze schitterende foto's van Murmers en Feline, twee dochters uit Lotjes vorige nestje. Zijn ze niet schitterend? Robert en Pauline, dank jullie wel voor deze geweldige foto's en dat jullie zo goed voor onze meisjes zorgen.

Hans and Angelique adopted Hiro - son of Nena and brother to our Mouse, Pippa and Obelix - and renamed him Storm. And as you can see he's quite the tempest. Is he not the sweetest thing?

Hans en Angelique hebben Hiro - zoon van Nena en broertje van onze Muis, Pippa en Obelix - geadopteerd en hebben hem omgedoopt naar Storm. En zoals jullie op deze foto kunnen zien is het echt een wervelwind. Is het geen schatje met zijn strik om?

Bigger home

Sunshine, Lotje and their kids are doing wonderfull as you can see in the pictures above :-).

Met Sunshine, Lotje en hun kinderen gaat het geweldig zoals te zien is in bovenstaande foto's :-).

Together

On thursday July 30st, Lotje became mother for the second time. She has three lovely kittens (two bicolors and one lynx point) which grow as if she has cream instead of milk.

Twelve days later Sunshine had her litter and both mothers helped each other with the delivery. It was really heartwarming to see how they supported each other.

Sunshine has two kittens (two mitteds) and although it was our intention to keep both mothers separated that was not how they saw it! They wanted to stay together with all the five kittens in one birthing box...... and there was no arguing with both mothers. So now the kittens have two mothers: two time the washing but also more available nipples! And that shows when we look how much they have grown each day :-)! And of course the mothers are blissfully happy (just look at the picture above of Sunshine and her (adoption)kittens).

Op donderdag 30 july werd Lotje voor de tweede keer moeder. Zij heeft drie schatten van kittens (twee bicolors en een lynx point) en ze groeien alsof ze slagroom in plaats van melk in haar tepels heeft.

Twaalf dagen later beviel Sunshine en beide moeders hebben elkaar geweldig geholpen tijdens de bevalling.

Sunshine heeft twee kittens (twee mitjes) en hoewel het onze bedoeling was om beide moeders en hun kittens apart te houden was dat toch niet zoals zij dat zagen! Beide moeders wilden bij elkaar blijven met alle kittens in een 'birthing box'................en probeer daar maar eens tussen te komen. Kortom, de kittens hebben nu twee moeders: dit betekent wel twee keer gewassen worden maar ook meer beschikbare tepels!!! En dat zien wij wanneer wij ze wegen, ze groeien echt als kool! Beide moeders zijn in de zevende hemel en dat zie je ook wel aan Sunshine in de foto hierboven.

Godfather Kennedy is no more

On the day that Lotje gave birth to her second litter, we also had - much too soon and totally unexpected - to say goodbye to Kennedy.

We will miss our ginger one dearly. He was not only a very good friend to us, but also Godfather of all the kittens we have raised, protector and carer for all the underdogs as well as an all around trooper, period!

Since we never saw it coming, the shock has been immense. It is true that you do not know what you have until it is gone. But fortunately we have dozens and dozens of good memories to remember him by.

We will miss his purring and hugs, the ragdolls will miss the handyman and groomer, and the world has become a little bit colder. He now rests with Addison and Denver, and we hope that the three of them are now together, somewhere over the rainbow bridge.

Op de dag dat Lotje het leven schonk aan haar tweede nestje, hebben wij ook - veel te vroeg en totaal onverwacht - afscheid moeten nemen van onze Kennedy.

Wij zullen onze rode gesneden kater verschikkelijk gaan missen. Hij was niet alleen een verschrikkelijk goede vriend van ons, maar hij was ook de Peter van alle kittens die wij hebben mogen voortbrengen, beschermer en verzorger van alle zwakkeren in onze cattery, en een kater uit één stuk, zonder enige twijfel.

Omdat we het niet hebben zien aankomen is de schok erorm groot. Opnieuw gaat op dat je iets pas echt leert waarderen wanneer het er niet meer is, maar gelukkig hebben we ontelbare herinneringen aan hem.

We zullen ze spinnen en kopjes missen, net zoals de ragdolls hun klusjeskat en persoonlijke verzorger zullen moeten ontberen. En de wereld is voor ons weer een stukje killer geworden.

Kennedy rust nu op een plaatsje, naast Addison en Denver, in de zon. En we hopen dat de drie samen plezier mogen hebben, waar ze nu ook mogen zijn.

Cats, Fun & Sun

Last weekend we were at the Cats, Fun & Sun show in Charleroi (B). It was Apple his first show as an alter and he made 6 finals! We are so proud of our little man.
It was also Cartier and Mouse first show as an adult and they had though competition of Mirjam's Bear and Mady's Beryl. But Mouse made his first two finals (in the specialty ring of Francesca) and that is not bad for a nine months old boy :-).

Afgelopen weekend waren wij op de Cats, Fun & Sun show in Charleroi (B). Het was de eerste keer dat wij Apple als kastraat showden en hij heeft 6 finale plaatsen gehaald! Wij zijn dan ook erg trots op onze kleine man.

Het was ook de eerste show voor Cartier en Muis als volwassen katers en zij hadden zware concurrentie van Mirjam's Bear en Mady's Beryl. Maar Muis haalde zijn eerste finale plaatsen (in de specialty ring van Francesca) en dat is zeker niet slecht voor onze negen maanden oude kerel :-).

Best seal lynx point mitted

Today we recieved great news: Apple is the best international seal lynx point mitted ragdoll of showseason 2008/2009!!!! We are so proud of our little boy.

Vandaag kregen wij geweldig nieuws: Apple is wereldwijd de best seal lynx point mitted ragdoll van het showseizoen 2008/2009!!!! Wij zijn zo trots op onze kleine kerel.

6 weeks old

Six weeks old, so big compared to last week.................but still so small compared to us :-). Everyone is doing great and Scarlet is as always a supermom and teaching her little ones to eat dry food, play and use the litterbox.

De kittens zijn alweer zes weken oud, zo groot vergeleken met vorige week................maar nog steeds zo klein vergeleken met ons :-). Het gaat heel goed en Scarlet is echt een supermoeder. Zij leert haar kittens om brokjes te eten, uiteraard volop te spelen en om de kattenbak te gebruiken!

5 weeks old

Today the kittens celebrated their fifth week anniversary :-). Aren't they turning out to be lovely kittens? We decided to name them after 'scarlet apples' as this is Apples last litter and their names are Baldwin, McIntosh, Katy, Melrose, Rachel, Anna and Pippin.

Vandaag zijn de kittens vijf weken oud geworden en worden het geen schatjes? Omdat wij altijd leuk vinden om een bepaald thema te kiezen voor de namen, hebben dit keer gekozen voor 'rode apples'. Dit is namelijk het laatste nestje van Apple :-). De namen zijn Baldwin, McIntosh, Katy, Melrose, Rachel, Anna and Pippin.

4 weeks old

Four weeks and the world is great (but we also need our sleep ...... :-) ).

Vier weken en het leven is geweldig (maar wij hebben ook onze slaap nodig ..... :-) )

3 weeks old

Scarlets kittens are three weeks old now and they are slowly starting to discover their world. Scarlet really is a supermom and she has no problem taking excellent care of her seven babies!!!

In the litter there are two mitted boys, one mitted girl, two point girls, one mitted lynx girl and one point lynx boy. And they are all too cute to be true :-).


Scarlets kittens zijn inmiddels drie weken oud en ze beginnen langzaam de wereld te ontdekken. Scarlet is echt een supermoeder en heeft geen enkel probleem om goed voor haar zeven kittens te zorgen!!!

Het nestje bestaat uit twee mitted jongens, een mitted meisje, twee point meisjes, een mitted lynx meisje en een point lynx jongetje. En uiteraard allemaal even lief :-).

This Whit Sunday, our Scarlet x Apple became parents to seven wonderful and beautiful kittens. Even though this is a large number, Scarlet does not appear to have any problems with feeding them and caring for them. It looks like she thrives on mother hood.

Eerste Pinksterdag zijn onze Scarlet x Apple de trotse ouders geworden van zeven schitterende en betoverende kittens. Hoewel dit best een flink aantal is, lijkt Scarlet geen enkel probleem te hebben met het zogen en zorgen voor deze lieverds. Het lijkt er zelfs op dat ze er helemaal van opleeft!

A New Leaf - Een Nieuw Begin

In his picture, Apple has just woken from being neutered. Some may be inclinged to think that is a shame to retire this beautiful boy, but we think that retiring him is a good choice. He has given us numerous litters with beautiful kittens and has graced us with advancing to Supreme Grand Champion. Now it is time for him to enjoy life without the burden of hormones and be with us in the living room. We look forward to show him as an alter.

In deze foto is Apple net wakker geworden na zijn castratie. Er zijn msschien mensen die het jammer vinden dat we Apple al zo vroeg met pensioen hebben laten gaan, maar wij denken dat het er tijd voor was. Apple heeft ons een aantal nestjes met schitterende kittens geschonken en ons daarnaast verblijd met het behalen van een Supreme Grand Champion titel. Nu is het tijd dat hij niet langer gebukt gaat onder het juk van hormonen en bij ons in de woonkamer gaat leven. We hopen hem nog een tijdje als kastraat te showen.

Sem

Vandaag kregen wij nieuwe fotootjes van Sem, een zoon van Scarlet en Apple. Hij is nu bijna 1 jaar oud en is het niet een enorm mooie kerel geworden? Wij zijn in ieder geval erg trots op hem.

New Supreme

Last weekend, at the Cats-4-Us TICA show in Frankfurt, our Apple achieved his Supreme Grand Champion title. He got his Best Cat in the ring of Chris Unangst.
But that isn't all, also our two kittens did amazingly well with 11 finals in total and one best kitten! You can imagine we couldn't be more proud of our boys!

Afgelopen weekend heeft Apple zijn Surpreme Grand Champion titel gehaald tijdes de Cats-4-Us TICA show in Frankfurt. Hij kreeg zijn 'Best Cat' van Chris Unangst.
Maar dat is niet alles, ook de twee kleine kereltjes hebben het geweldig gedaan met totaal 11 finales, waaronder een best kitten! Wij zijn dan ook super trots op onze kerels!

TICAshow - Eghezee 11 & 12 april 2009

On April 11th and 12th we had a great TICA show in Eghezee (B). It was Cartiers first show in Europe and he did great! Both he and Obelix had several finals, so you can imagine we are very proud of our boys :-).

Afgelopen weekend waren wij op een TICA show in Eghezee (B). Het was Cartiers eerste show in Europa en hij heeft het geweldig gedaan. Zowel hij als Oblelix stonden in meerdere finales en wij zijn dan ook enorm trots op onze kerels :-)

Ragmagic Diva Darling

It is with great pride that we announce the (upcoming) arrival of another Ragmagic lady to our home: Ragmagic Diva Darling.
She is a seal colorpoint ragdoll and we fell in love with her the first time we saw her as a small kitten. After several 'please, please, pleases' Amy agreed to let us adopt her. In due course she will be Cartier's girlfriend and we are already looking forward to their litter. Hopefully there will be a beautiful baby for Amy to thank her for this Darling. Thank you Amy!!!

Met trots introduceren wij een nieuwe Ragmagic dame in onze cattery: Ragmagic Diva Darling.
Zij is een seal colorpoint ragdoll en vanaf het eerste moment dat wij haar zagen werden wij verliefd op haar. Na vele 'alsjeblieft, alsjeblieft, alsjebliefts' mochten wij haar van Amy adopteren en binnenkort komt zij naar ons toe. Wij hopen dat zij goede vriendjes met Cartier wordt en wij kijken nu al uit naar hun kittens. Hopelijk zit er een mooi kittentje bij om Amy te bedanken voor deze 'Darling'. Amy bedankt!!!

Madelene send us the wonderful picture of Sem (or as we know him: Clark, the blue lynx point mitted boy from the Chicago Blue Line litter) with his adoption brother.

As you can see in this picture, time has been treating Sem well. With just eight months of age, he has become quite a stunner and a looker and very experienced in working the old ragdoll charm. We still remember him as a wonderful little brat he was (and probably still is....).

Madelene heeft ons de fantastische foto van Sem toegestuurd (of zoals wij hem kennen: Clark, de blue lynx point mitted kerel uit het Chicago Blue Line nestje) en zijn adoptiebroertje.

Zoals duidelijk te zien is in deze foto, is Sem lekker opgedroogd. Hoewel nog maar acht maanden our, is hij een echte schoonheid geworden die ook nog eens in staat is om zijn mensjes om zijn pootjes te winden. We herinneren hem nog als het lekker en ondeugend jochie dat hij bij ons was (en waarschijnlijk nog steeds is....).

Adorabledolls Jacques Cartier

This week we went to the USA to meet our new boy. Isn't he lovely? He is so beautiful and he is such a lovely boy. He immediately took a liking to WJ and as you can see WJ doesn't mind at all :-).

Thank you Carol and Stuart for this lovely boy!!! We feel enormously proud to adopt this boy and we thank you for trusting us to take care of your baby.

Deze week zijn wij naar de USA geweest om onze nieuw kereltje op te halen. Is hij niet enorm schattig? Naast dat hij heel mooi is, is hij ook een enorme knuffelbeer en hij was gelijk weg van WJ. En zoals je kunt zien, vindt WJ dat helemaal niet erg :-).

Carol en Stuart, enorm bedankt voor deze geweldige kerel. Wij zijn enorm trots dat wij deze jongen mogen adopteren en bedankt dat jullie ons vertrouwen met jullie baby.

Apple featured in nine of the sixteen finals he was eligable for. He earned enough points to advance to the TICA title Quadruple Grand Champion (QGC). Indeed a very good result.

This was also the first show for Mouse. We took him so he could experience with showing as he is only four months old. And he did great! He even made his first final :-).

Op 21 en 22 februari waren wij op de TICAcats show in Holzminden (Duitsland). We hebben er enorm genoten en daarnaast hebben Apple en Muis het er erg goed gedaan.

Apple stond in negen van de zestien finales en hij behaalde genoeg punten voor de TICA titel Quadruple Grand Champion (GGC). Een geweldig goed resultaat.

New Kid on the Block

We are over the moon to be able to announce that we will be getting a new boy!! His name is Adorabledolls Jacques Cartier, he's a blue point bi-color and - as his name already indicates - he really is adorable :-). Early March he'll be joining us in The Netherlands.

We zijn heel trots om te kunnen aankondigen dat we er binnenkort een jongeheer bijkrijgen. Zijn naam is Adorabledolls Jacques Quartier, hij heeft een blue point bi-color aftekening en hij is - zoals zijn Amerikaanse naam al doet vermoeden - vreselijk snoezig. Begin maart komt hij de grote plas over om ingelijfd te worden bij Pacificat Ragdolls!

Carol, dank je wel dat je ons dit lieve kereltje wil toevertrouwen!!!

We got this lovely picture of Trees and we are so happy to see that Grand (son of our Scarlet and Apple) is totally not impressed with the resident dog. In fact we belive that the dog is less relaxed than "our" boy.

Wij kregen deze geweldige foto van Trees en wij zijn heel blij om te zien dat Grand (een van de zonen van Scarlet en Apple) totaal niet onder de indruk is van hun hond. Wij denken zelfs dat "onze" jongen er veel relaxer uitziet.

This week Nena's kittens went to the vet for their second set of shots. And like last time everything went perfect!

Deze week zijn de kittens van Nena voor de tweede keer gevaccineerd. Net zoals de vorige keer verliep alles zonder problemen!

Savannah - or Little Miss Sunshine as we can her as she is a spitting image of her mother Sunshine - showing off how a true ragdoll can completely occupy, or even own, you and still get away with it. She is just too cute.

Savannah - of Little Miss Sunshine omdat ze een kopietje van haar moeder Sunshine is - laat zien hoe je door een ragdoll in beslag kan worden genomen zonder daardoor in de problemen te komen. Ze is gewoon te snoezig om haar niet te willen plezieren.

We have to admit that this is not the most exciting picture to start the new year, but Lies felt soo proud that Obelix decided to sleep on top of her when she took a little nap on New Year's Eve.

Nena's litter is truly adorable and we do hope that they keep developing so nicely as they have been so far!

We geven het toe, dit is niet de meest opwindende foto om het nieuwe jaar mee te beginnen. Maar Lies was zo trots dat Obelix bovenop haar kwam liggen toen zij een klein dutje deed op oudejaarsavond.

Nena's nestje is echt geweldig en wij hopen dat de kleintjes zich zo mooi blijven ontwikkelen als dat zij tot nu toe hebben gedaan.
